“I have been an avid receiver of acupuncture treatments for approximately 10 years. I have been treated for a bad shoulder, menopause, and shingles, recovery from foot surgery and general stress and aches. When Ways to Wellness announced they would be offering community acupuncture services I was ecstatic. I started seeing Julie for a very sore back which she cleared up in short order. This summer I became afflicted with plantar fasciitis. I have never had anything so painful in my life. I could barely walk when I went to see Julie. After the very first treatment my heel was already feeling better. Now, after several weeks of treatments my plantar fasciitis is almost completely gone. What was supposed to take 6 – 12 months to improve was done in 3 months. I will continue to see Julie once or twice a month for general stress help. Julie is caring, considerate and really listens to what you have to say. I encourage everyone I meet to try it as I know once they do they will really like it.” – Claudia, acupuncture client
It has officially been one year since adding community acupuncture to our growing list of Ways to Wellness services. For those unfamiliar, community acupuncture takes place in a larger room, where clients receive individual treatments at a lower cost than traditional private acupuncture sessions. Appointments are staggered, so each client receives one-on-one conversation with the acupuncturist to develop a treatment plan that works best for them. Acupuncture can be beneficial for a variety of common health conditions from stress management to digestive issues and more.
Our data shows that 93% of clients that have been treated more than four times say that the treatment improved the targeted symptoms. As reflected in the testimony above, acupuncture can benefit a variety of symptoms, but can also help to maintain health.
