Does Healthy Nutrition Mean Restriction?

When you imagine a healthy diet does your mind automatically think restriction? It shouldn’t! According to recent research, we should focus more on the inclusion of healthier choices as opposed to the reduction of “less healthy” choices. What does this mean for you? Instead of cutting bread out of your diet let’s switch to a whole grain choice instead. Focus on whole foods; fruits, vegetables, whole grains, seeds and nuts. Have a sweet tooth? Choose natural sugars like fruit over processed sugars in candy, sweets and soft drinks.
